frank pastore playing 2 song/poem/raps, one of which portrays Jesus against religion, the other portrays Jesus in favor of religion. I tend to favor the later because we need a "structure" to unite people in Christ, & that structure is the church (ie religion), ...sure, the church has its flaws & is filled with sinners (hopefully sinners who are becoming less sinful & more saintly) but without it its "every man/woman for themself". Imagine an army in which each soldier does his own thing because he believes in fighting for what is right but doesn't believe in an established military regime. we need structure for the body of Christ. You don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. too many people sound like spoiled babies these days. they have a bad experience at a church & so they decide the whole worldwide church is bad or stupid, & that all they personally need is their own personal Jesus. If you think the church is flawed, don't run away, but dig in your heels & help fix it !
KEEP the FAITH I! it's about FAITH, ABOUT GOD, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT, LOVE ..peace, joy, kindness, care, happiness.. about doing what's right.. treating others better than yourself, about servant leadership, .. it's about hoping for the best from others, even when we live in a world with too much anger and mistreatment of others.. KEEP HOPING for the BEST from others..and DO UNTO OTHERS AS u would HOPE they do UNTO U..
