1/12/11 L.A. TEEN KILLED BY GIRL, POINT BLANK, ON DOORSTEPS. "Los Angeles ... – Francisco Rodriguez is dead at age 17. Francis Rodriguez’s death is being confirmed as a targeted, non-random, murder. Francisco was a senior at El Camino Real High and a member murder. Francisco was a senior at El Camino Real High and a member the school’s varsity boys soccer team. The murder happened late Wednesday night following a game against Taft High School. Last night, Francisco Rodriguez was playing in the El Camino vs. Taft H School soccer game. The game ended in a scoreless tie after Francisco had four stellar saves. After the game, Rodriguez headed home. Shortly after, he was murdered. Francisco returned home to his house on the 6900 block of Cozycroft Avenue, near Hart Street in Winnetka. He was inside the home with his mother. But at 6:30, a girl came to the family’s front door and knocked. She briefly spoke to the mother and asked "...she asked to talk to Francisco, & he came to the door, at which she shot him point blank.
