He has immense pride regarding his team’s accomplishments.
As for personal glorification, there isn’t the slightest hint of shameless Dick Vitale self-promotion in his soul. Impassioned? Sure. Loquacious? Never. He just doesn’t understand what all the fuss is about after reaching a professional milestone that reflects the combined efforts of so many other people.
