They are not proper candidates for “human rights.” But neither are they devoid of a kind of created dignity. God created each species “after its own kind.” We need to think about what that means. In that regard, Hiasl’s defenders have a good point. Given the present lega situation, the right to life is restricted to humans. (May '07) FULLER's MOUW CLAIMS HE CARES ABOUT ANIMALS, BUT [listen to what I say in the video re the Mouw I barely knew growing up in grand rapids ...I don't think he any pets...which would be the first clue of genuine care for animals...he had one son, dirk, ...no other kids ...& when i arrived at fuller seminary with my dog, lola, after tying her up in the shade of a tree a few days as I was going around campus doing errands...one day a student came rushing up to me with alarm & said "They're going to call the humane society...!" ...he was warning me that somebody in administration was not too fond of my dog..I don't know if it was mouw or somebody else...he didn't elaborate,...but it was next to the president's office ...& despite thinking mouw was a "family friend" I've never gotten a christmas card from him...apparently kids of "friends" aren't included (r my dad & mouw truly friends or what? I always got the feeling mouw was trying to influence my dad...maybe pressure him in one way or another...for that matter mouw taught at calvin, but didn't attend calvin...I didn't know that until much later in life ...]...Mouw says "'... the tendency these days towards species-egalitarianism.
