(Aug 8 07) MOUW in a BIBLE CAMP KITCHEN when he STOPPED BELIEVING IN A YOUNG EARTH: "I was 15 years old when I stopped believing in a “young earth.” And it happened, of al places, at a fundamentalist Bible camp. I worked there on the kitchen staff, and one of my fellow workers, a college student, was reading Bernard Ramm’s Science and the Scripture, which had only recently been published. When one of the speakers at the camp denounced Ramm’s book as heretical, my friend secretly showed me his copy—in that context it might as well have been an issue of Playboy! I got him to lend me the book and I read it, and the two of us discussed it at length. We were co-conspirators in a private act of theological rebellion. Ramm opened up a whole new way for me of thinking about Chris http://www.netbloghost.com/mouw/?m=200708

[mouw pretends he defends the reformed faith & conservative Christian worldview but at the same time he writes, rather than speaks, loud & clear , that he does NOT believe in the conservative Christian's literal 6-day creation story ...yet he wants to remain on the conservative bandwagon which is why he will write about his belief in evolution but won't advertise himself as believing such in large letters ...I believe mouw has sold us out while still pretending he defends conservative Christian evangelical values ..THE ONLY PROBLEM IS HE DOESN'T ! ] (Aug 8 07) MOUW in a BIBLE CAMP KITCHEN when he STOPPED BELIEVING IN A YOUNG EARTH: "I was 15 years old when I stopped believing in a “young earth.” And it happened, of al places, at a fundamentalist Bible camp.
