CALL SANTA MONICA CITY MANAGER @ 310-458-8201 to SAVE THE NATIVITY SCENE !...here's the story: an ATHEIST GROUP KNOCKS OUT SANTA MONICA NATIVITY SCENE ..a group of churches in & around santa monica have sponsored a 14 scene nativity display on the bluff along the street in santa monica for 60 years now (I remember seeing it for the first time a few years ago) ..& up until last year nobody has ever contested it..but suddenly an atheist & his companions (presumably) decided to apply for 10 of the alloted spaces available & posted a bogus anti-religion quote by thomas jefferson, & didn't even use most of the other spaces...the problem being that the nativity scene has been reduced to 3 spaces (instead of their usual 12 or 14?) because the atheist group has the other 10 spaces reserved & are using for essentially nothing...ie it appears they simply reserved the spaces solely for the purpose of blocking the nativity scene ..this is the director of the nativity program talking to frank pastore on kkla about it. ...I called & left a message at the above phone #...expressing my feelings in a civil manner...you can too ! tell the city, nicely, that its NOT fair that damon vix & his atheist companions bid on these spaces (free lottery) solely for the sake of making it unavailable for the Christians & our Savior's birthday story. ..the city won't care unless they know there r Christians who DO CARE about this nativity scene (as well stopping the atheists from taking potshots at our freedom...; if they get away with this, what's next? if u call yourself a Christian, u have an obligation to defends your faith in a civil manner..call now, stand up & speak out !
